Oh, it is definitely worth at least a try! I have personally found Thai massage to be more powerful and relaxing that say, Swedish massage.
It is conducted on a floormat, and you just wear loose, comfortable clothes that allow you to stretch and move. The massage therapist will use compression, stretching, massage etc.
I always fall asleep if I go for the 1-hour. I highly, highly recommend you give it a shot.
