Does anyone have a good website to look up Chinese Herbs?!

Question:

Does anyone have a good website to look up Chinese Herbs?

-container">My acupunturist gave me 2 medicines to take for fertility that have a mixture of herbs:
1:Tree Peony Bark, Rehmannia root, Asiatic Dogwood Ripe Fleshy Fruit, Chinese Yam Rhizome, Polyporus Sclerotium, Asian Water Plantain.
2: Don Quai Root, Chinese Licorice Root, Mature Gardenia Fruit, Chinese Mint, Ginger Rhizone, Bupleufum root, Atractylodes rhizone
I have not taken yet, I am having trouble finding out what these are and if they are safe to take when trying to get pregnant.

Answers:

those are safe herbs if you're trying to get pregnant. the only time you really have to worry about taking chinese herbs is when you're already pregnant. good luck looking up those herbs on any website - you'll be better off using the anglicized chinese spelling ("pinyin"). go to craneherbs.com or nuherbs.com, i think the latter requires registration though.
