Question:

Does cold medicine works? Help me out !!?

I got sick from cold an cough, I took cold medicine everyday and it get worst, seem like medicine not work.

Answers: Cold medicine is a symptom supressant but not a "cure". If you aren't feeling better maybe you should visit your doctor. I'm afraid that it can only help to reduce the symptoms. There's an old truism that says, "If you treat a cold, it will be gone in a week. If you don't do anything, you'll be over it in seven days." It's only supposed to make you feel better for a while, if you have a runny noose, or a cough. Stop the symptoms for a while.

It will not cure the cold.

Your body does that, you can help it along the way by taking Vitamin C, drinking fluids to flush your system. Resting. cold meds do not work best to drink lots of fluids and tough it out stay away from milk it makes you phlegmie just use afrin nasal spray to make you comfortable if you are stuffed up Try some natural therapy.
Try Indine NONI it helps you to improve your whole system and strengths it internally. The medicine wasn't making it worse, your cold was just progressing. Like others said, it's not a cure, just something to make you feel better. You should only take it if you feel REALLY crappy, and some work while others don't, depends on what the active ingredients are. Agreed with others...medicine helps you feel better temporarily, but doesn't cure it.

Different medicines have different affects on different people. Sometimes a medicine that works for one cold won't work on others. You may have to try different kinds before you get something good, unfortunately then that medicine might not work the next time you get a cold.
