Question:

What do you use to make tuna salad?

meaning what do you mix with the tuna?

Answers: Miracle Whip, Spiral Noodles, little salt and pepper, celery, baby peas, diced onions, hard boiled eggs, and sometimes instead of peas I use sweet relish.... just tuna and Best Foods mayonaise. My way: finely minced celery and onion, with pepper, mayo and vinegar.

OR

My Dad's way: sweet pickle relish and mayo. well first you smash the tuna(with a fork) and then add manoise and mabye some onions for a crunchy taste. I have also met people that eat there tuna with mustard onions, celery and mayo whatever you like but try some celery, onions, mayo, a little mustard, bread crumbs, i like to throw some garlic powder and onion powder. a little miracle, some chopped onion and/ or relish/ pickles chopped AND salt and pepper. This yumm-o Mayo, (or miracle whip) is the only necessity, but i like to add chopped celery, sweet relish, hard boiled egg whites, sometimes sliced olives...get creative. I like to put a little mayo, some hot sauce, a little onion, a little bit of celery, salt & pepper to taste. Some people like a bit of pickle relish in theirs but i don't like it. I add chopped onion
chopped celery
dill seasoning (not necessary)
salt and pepper
salad dressing (miracle whip) Some times i use tomates or cucummbers or even cheese.
They cheese cut up in the salad makes a good grilled tuna salad. For traditional i usually go for mayo, relish a little mustard. I use sweet relish, onions, mayo, boiled eggs, salt, pepper and a little garlic. I just smash the tunna up until it is fine crumbs- mix in your favorite mayo, sweet pickle relish.

If I am feeling like something different I will add dill pickles, a little dried onion, and chopped hard boiled eggs. I personally use mayo and just a little mustard to get rid of the fishy taste. use some finely diced onion, finely diced celery in a 2 to 5 ratio. add some pickle relish to taste, and some lemon juice. i like a little fresh chervil and dill as well as some minced capers. after letting the tuna drain you can add your mayonnaise and a teaspoon or so of Dijon mustard.

i promise that you will be amazed at how good this really is. Tuna, mayonaise, sweet relish, hard boiled egg, salt, and pepper. I serve it with sliced tomatos or eat it on triscuit crackers. I love tuna salad sandwiches...here is what I do:

Tuna ( I usually use two cans)

Mayo (add to tuna and mix until moist)

Claussen Pickles (Claussen's are the best...they are crunchy and cold... I chop up a small pickle into bite size pieces and add to the mix)

Green Onions (Chop up to your desired amount)

Tomato (Take out the seeds and chop up a tomato into bite size pieces and add to the mix)

Carrot (I like to finely grate the carrot...I usually use a couple of baby carrots).

Mix it all up and chill in the fridge (or if you are really hungry chill it a few minutes in the freezer).

Then serve on bread and if you want a little crunch, add a slice of lettuce to your sandwhich. ENJOY!!! I use some finely chopped celery and onion, salt and pepper and mayo. mayo
chopped onions
chopped celery
sweet pickle relish
elbow macaroni
salt/pepper Mayo and chopped up onions. And boiled eggs crush them up. And some sweet relish. That's one way the other way is to use mayo. pastsa chopped celery, chopped boiled eggs, finely chopped shallot, pickled relish, mayo... season with dash of salt, white pepper and sugar. serve with croissant, lettuce I use real Hellman's mayo, sweet onion chopped, some sweet dill relish and salt, pepper. It makes a great tasting tuna salad sandwich
