There is no information available on viruses from any traditional system of medicine This is a difficult one to answer, as in traditional herbal medicine - be it Western, Chinese or Ayurveda, it is the person and his / her constitution and how it is affected that is the most important consideration, rather than the offending organism.
Therefore a cold is treated not by targetting the virus and killing it, but by boosting the immune system and the person's constitution and ability to fight the virus him / herself.
