Answers: Yes.

It's cheap and natural.

Im not sure about NAFLD, but I took it for my skin and it helped tremendously. I was told by a Sikh guru that it improves liver function and as a result makes your toxins go out throught excretion instead of through your skin.

I take a pill here and there when my skin starts looking bad, but for $5 for 100 pills at walmart, what do yo uhave to lose? Yes. It cleanses your liver, If you are talking any anit-botics or herbs; milk thistle is a good way to cleanse your liver. Your body always needs a break from medications so, This is a good way to cleanse your system. I haven't used it for the reason you mention, but I take it to do a liver flush to move excess toxins out. Dandelion also works for me. I have taken it, but it was for skin clarification. I'm not sure that it's worked tremendously, but as far as I can tell, taking the recommended daily dose has harmed me in no way. If you are taking any other medicines, you might run an internet search to make sure there aren't any other interactions. Some herbs play with hormone levels, absorption of other medicines. The only such warning that I have heard about milk thistle is that it is a mild diuretic-- makes you pee. Drink some extra water to negate this effect.
