"gift" for amateur Reiki therapist?!

Question:

"gift" for amateur Reiki therapist?

a friend of mine & i are going to a amateur Reiki therapist, who is studing under a Master, & said he didn't charge but accepts gifts, since we've never been, what do you think a "gift" is?????
i was thinking money, how much?

Answers: Your healer is a Reiki I or Reiki II, not a Master. (I wouldn't call him an amateur, though. ;))

Reiki healers (even some at Reiki I and II level) charge anywhere from $30 to $100 per session depending on the length of the session. Some Masters charge even more.

Think about what you would tip a massage therapist, or even a waitress who served you a $100 meal... go from there. I'm sure he would be happy with any cash gift.
