I ought the 1,000mg ones

Answers: Garlic is more of a blood purifier and is considered a tonic. Your blood will be healthier, but I don't know that I can say it will lower your blood pressure. I recommend raw garlic because it is pure and natural. Since you already bought the pills, take them, but switch to the raw garlic once you finish what you already purchased. no my mom eats garlic day n night ..no effect only bad breath
it has recently been considered a myth yes it does but I would steer away from pills and go natural. Aside from lowering blood pressure, it has anti-microbial agents and loads of good bacteria for your gut. One side effect is odor. More than one or two cloves daily it seeps out via your pores. My hubby warned me...it's me or your garlic! Guess who won? Just saw a segment of "The truth about food" about garlic. It has been thought to increase blood flow and lower pressure, but the problem is that no serious large sample size studies have been done. Check out this link and see what they did on that show. Garlic certainly helps, in particular with the diastolic pressure.

You can get odourless high strength 3,000 mg garlic oil capsules and you should take 3 to 6 a day.
