Have you, personally, experienced any benefits from taking alpha-lipoic acid? Know anyone who benefited w/ALA?!

Question: I've used it myself, but I only recently started taking it, so I haven't taken it long enough to feel the benefits. The primary benefits of ALA are healthy glucose metabolism, general metabolic support, antioxidant properties that rejuvenate other antioxidants

I am on a roll this morning, an in box full of Q's I can't answer, so join the queue.
ALA actually stands for alpha linolenic acid which is an omega 3 fatty acid and this has some benefits for heart function. It has no brain benefits like DHA, one of the other omega 3 fatty acids.

ALA is found in soy products and walnuts and DHA is found in fish oil.

So, if you are looking for brain benefits then you must consume fish oil capsules or oily fish.
