Answers: Yes, I have used this method after being told by a chemist's assistant in Boots!!!

At bedtime, cut a small square of banana skin and place it (yellow side out) over the verruca and fasten in place with a plaster. The next morning, remove (the banana skin will have gone black!) and file the skin gently.

It takes about a week to remove small to medium size verrucas. Larger ones may need more help!

Never heard of it. Verrucas need to be burnt off gradually, i wouldn't have thought that bananas had any acid in it to do this.
