Garlic helps. You can get high strength odourless 3,000 mg garlic oil capsules and if you take from 3 to 6 a day that will boost your immune system. Garlic is both an antibacterial agent and an antimicrobial agent and is very good for people with sinus problems.

Vitamin C helps. 500 mg a day would be enough but even 1 or 2 gm (1,000 or 2,000 mg) a day is OK. Oranges, mandarins and tomatoes are all rich in vitamin C and actually most fruits and vegies contain reasonable amounts of vitamin C.

Garlic is great. As well as boosting your overall health, it has antiviral properties, and helps knock minor illnesses like colds before they get a grip. Cook some with any meat or veg you are preparing.
Vitamin C - oranges, citrus fruits, chewable tablets found in most convenience stores like Rite Aid or Vons.
Vitamin C works alot! Try things like
*Oranges
*Strawberries
*Kiwi
*Papaya
*Bell Peppers
*Cantaloupe
*Brussel Sprouts


Drink lots of Orange Juice!! or even better eat lots of Papaya it also helps with digestion. so its win win situation
Echinacea. You can find it at a pharmacy. Vitamin C is good, and when it is taken with Echinacea, it reduces colds & flu by 80%.
raw unpastuerized apple cider vinegar, 2 tblspns in juice, twice a day. you will almost never be sick. you can get it at a health food store, or in the natural section of some regular supermarkets. 5 bucks a quart.
Hi CuriousS, your question is good. There are foods that are known to help boost the immune system, but it's not one specific food, it's a balance of various foods because each food supplies the body with different vitamins/minerals and they are all needed to have a strong immune system.

Along with a good diet, we can use supplements dailly because it is very difficult to get the required amount of trace minerals each day even from a healthy diet. I chose a natural product, in liquid form as my supplement and have had great success overcoming an auto immune disorder.

eat lots of fruits..citrus fruits(vitamin C)
