Jobs in homeopathic medicine?!

Question: My friend is looking into college course for becoming an herbalist. What kind of job can she get with that besides selling products from her home? I ask because this is interesting to me also, but unsure of the practical application of the degree once obtained. Thx!

Somebody's got to grow the stuff. It also has to be refined, purified, put into a usable form, and tested for potency. Someone also has to sell it and diagnose who needs it and for what purpose. The career possibilities are pretty much what they always were, despite the medical profession's desire to maintain a monopoly on good health, limitless!
An herbalist is in some ways the opposite of a homeopath. A herbalist works with botanicals that contain significant levels of active ingredients that the herbalist has been taught to believe have real effects on disease (mostly this is untrue or unreliable)

The homeopath believes the more dilute the medicine the more effective it is (!) Real homeopathic medicines are so dilute they have ZERO active ingredients
