Natural Treatments for ADD?!

Question: I havn't seen a dr. officially, however after reading "Moms With ADD" and speaking with a friend (who is a dr.) I am very sure that I could stand to get help. However I don't want to jump right in to the world of aderal and stratera. I would really like to try some more natural/homeopathic approaches to this. Does anyone know any good sites for information ect?

You should try taking Ginko Biloba. It helps maintain focus. There are also other herbal remedies that may help you. You should ask your pharmacist (it's free) about over the counter drugs that may solve your problem. The last option would be to go on a narcotic (such as Adderall) to help you stay focused.
A Yahoo web search for "attention deficit disorder" + "natural remedies" will yield at least 4,308 results.
Look for diets that help with ADD. Cutting out processed foods and food coloring is great. Go natural and shop the outsides of the grocery aisles.
A much better approach than medication would be a healthy balanced diet.

An all in one supplement each day.

Add to that the essential fatty acids (fish oil, or cod liver oil, or even 6 walnuts prior to each meal)

And extra calcium

These are the steps that will give you excellent results with both ADD and ADHD
Just do a search on it, but I have heard Valerian Root Extract, Hops and Passion Flower work.
Try getting the book "Stop ADHD,ADD,ODD Hyperactivity"
by Dr. Robert De Maria
The best thing to do would be modify the childs diet:
NO dairy
NO corn
NO sugar
Pot
