Pineapple juice contains the enzyme bromelain (from the pineapple core) which helps your digestion.
As regards blood pressure, it is unlikely to make any really noticeable difference, just a tiny bit. The potassium in fruit and vegies and bread, cereals and muesli and pasta, potatoes and nuts helps a little bit only.
