Flavonoids are definitely beneficial. Always good. Antioxidant similar to what is found in fruit.

Tannins are astringent and drying. A little is good. Can help stop diarrhea. It is the part of tea that stops bleeding if you apply it to a wound. Tannins may help with vascular health. They also inhibit the absorption of iron, which is ONLY desirable if you are fighting an infection or treating cancer.

But too much can be bad and is hard on the kidneys. That's why sun tea is better, or green tea, because you use only hot water (not boiling) and don't steep it as long. Sun tea or refrigerator brewed tea has very low tannin content. And the effect of tannins in inhibiting iron absorption is lessened when we add lemon juice to our tea.
simple. Google.
tea is not good for health anyway, better do project on coffee
The antioxidants in tea are good for you but the tannic acid in tea is bad for you as it irritates and damages your stomach lining if you drink too much tea.
