A cold can last anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. I find that the only thing that works for me when I have a cold is ColdFX. This is a medication containing all natural ingredients and it worked for me

Bad symptoms for three days but cough could last a couple weeks. Keep in mind that they, the virus, take there own sweet time. Drink plenty of liquids and take the decongestants.

if you have this you might want to try other over the counter drugs and medicine.

first, try ocean spry- it is pretty much slat water. what you do is put it in one nostril, close the other, and spray- then blow it out hard, and do it to the other side.
this you can do about as much as you need.

you may also want to try and advil. the advil is an anti-inflamitory. when you get a cold, your skin gets inflammed this may keep it down.

lastly try musinex. this wil help dry you out
