Yes laxitive it should tell you on the package how to use it. to soak in for soreness and swelling. And it is also used as a food supplement for plants.

I don't know about the laxative thing. I am a runner though and whenever I get blisters on my feet I soak them in warm water and epsom salt. It makes them feel so much better and helps to heal them.

sore feet, or ingrown toe nails. the container lists all sorts of uses for the salt, and how to use them.

Children ,Adults, and especially Elders use it to clense their feet in. Or to bathe in it. It gives you a sense of peace.

You can take a bath in it and it will take all the toxins out of your body! Also, if u have sore feet and soak them in epsom salt it will make them feel so much better! TRY IT!!!!!

Mixing it with your conditioner is a great way to add body to your hair.

Epsom salt has many use. It can be used as a laxative, just follow the instructions on the package, however there are better herbal laxatives you can use that taste better. It can also be used as a "drawing" agent to draw puss out of a wound. Salt is an excellent alternative to wound cleansing as opposed to Hydrogen peroxide. You can put Epsom salt in a bath tub, and soak this helps with achey muscles.
