Between fish and cheese and fungus and feet... with a dash of moss and a pinch of gelatine..... I stopped taking it because it grossed me out too much. Too bad, now I dont get a good night's sleep.

Fresh, it is commonly likened to the odor of wet, used athletic socks, and I'm not kidding about this.
Sweaty socks.
But it was NOT used for Valium. That's a myth.
The stronger it smells the fresher it is. And it works very well to help with sleep or just to calm your nerves.
Yuck! It stinks. It is a good relaxant.
I don't like the smell at all, it smells like rancid damp wood to me. I do take it on occasion - I don't like the smell (or the taste) but it does work for me.
I have smell it and I don't like it the smell is horrible.
