I always was told that medical marijuana for glycolma (eye disorder) was approved in sum states.

It's one of those wacky laws. In some states, like CA, STATE law permits the medical use of marijuana.
However, this violates FEDERAL law. Marijuana is still illegal in the US, even though some states have passed legislation permitting it.
That's right - it makes no sense.
If it is prescribed by a medical doctor it is not illegal and the prescription is about $300.00 It is not only in the wacky state of California dude! My mom's best friend was dying with cancer in North Carolina, another wacky state!!! and her doctor wrote her a prescription also.
you need to get the paper work filed out to use it as medicine and not everyone is approved and you have to be sick really sick.
