How is that bee venom isn't used to alleviate arthritis?!

I've heard of bee stinging used as a therapy. I've also heard of hitting yourself with stinging nettles. Apparently the venom or toxins act as an anti-inflammatory helping reduce inflammation in the body. The adrenal glands also become stimulated causing the body's natural healing response.

Because it's not an expensive patentable drug, and arthritus is a common condition, so using it would cost the health care industry billions.
Lots of other chemicals have suffered a similar fate.

I'll bet your lumbago went away too...

It's not used because it doesn't work. End of story.
