Has anyone taken Flagyl tablets?!

I was given these tabs for a stomach flu I had. It's my 3rd day taking them and I must say, these tabs elevate my energy and motivation. Has anyone else experienced this while taking Flagyl? The tabs do have a bitter taste, but yesterday when I was at work, it had gone so fast. My shift was over in an hour. I was like what?! They def. make me move.

Don't know about the energy thing but thought I'd tell you this. . .when I was a vet tech we gave Flagyl to dogs/cats with parasites.
My guess is that you have intestinal parasites and maybe you feel better because the flagyl killed them???
it's just an anti biotic....it doesn't give you energy....
Actually Flagyl is an antibacterial not an antibiotic. Yes, it could give you energy because it was probably killing off extra fungus in your gut which can also lead to exhaustion, muscle aches, and other symptoms.

Why is Flagyl prescribed?
Flagyl is an antibacterial drug prescribed for certain vaginal and urinary tract infections in men and women; amebic dysentery and liver abscess; and infections of the abdomen, skin, bones and joints, brain, lungs, and heart caused by certain bacteria.
This is not a drug that is commonly prescribed anymore.
