I am taking metformin for my diabetes and I just don't feel right?!

Question: I am taking metformin for my diabetes and I just don't feel right, I feel like I want to throw up through out the day on and off especial in the morning, but nothing comes up. Do you think it could be this medicine, or my diabetes making me feel like this I have not felt like this before. Im also trying to have a baby but i already took a pregnancy test and it was negative so I know im not pregnant.

Diabetes, you get nauseated if your blood sugar is too low and also if its too high, It must be kept between 70mg/gl and 140mg/gl, no higher and no lower, also it takes getting used to, like if you always have it high and begin to take control by beginning to keep it lower that too gets you nauseated until you get used to better control. I take 850 mg of metformin 3 times daily and now I feel no side effects but when I first started at a lower dose it gave me diaria ALL THE TIME so that I hated taking it and eventually stopped but now, no problem.

How long have you been taking Glucophage (Metformin)? You could have an allergy to it. Might chat with the doctor. The medication can't do you any good if you cannot keep it down.
