Ways to clear up postnasal drip?!
Question: I have postnasal drip, and it is abolutly KILLING MY THROAHT. It hurts soooo much, and I tried to gargal salt water, and I threw up. So are there any ways to clear it up without putting anything in my nose and without salt water. Please answer ASAP. This REAAAALY hurts.

It's not alternative, but I use a half dose of Sudafed just to clear out the mucus). Then I drink a lot of water and lay off any milk products (they enhance mucus) for a few days. Spicy food (cayenne pepper etc) will help clear out your nose and stop it from dripping to the back of your throat.
Also steam helps - boil a big pot of water and hang your head over it.

First I'd say, are you sure it's not tonsillitis or strep throat? I would have a doctor check that out first, to rule out an infection.
If it isn't, try drinking hot tea with lemon and honey.
