Question: what are people's thoughts on the pharmaceutical industry and government? He is a sensationalist however, I think he has SOME valid points that need to be addressed. I have personally seen ,on a farm in Australia, green peppers become red peppers overnight by using gas and know that even though Paxil has helped me with anxiety, I am now addicted. I think it is fair to say that more natural is better, though sometimes we need a doctor, but do you think the pharmaceutical industry is callous and calculating? Thoughts?

much of Trudeau's information is accurate, too bad he got greedy and sullied the reputation of CAM methods. Pharmaceutical companies derive many drugs from plant sources but "science" is used to isolate what seems to be the active ingredient. The supporting parts of the plant are not duplicated in the laboratory and the synthetic active chemical becomes dangerous to human life, now #3 killer in US, according to previous poster. The history of health care in this country is replete with prosecution/persecution of those who develop alternative (to poisons) methods to heal.
