What is Marijuana used for in medicine?!

Question: I heard it can cure something but what?

Answers: I heard it can cure something but what?

Marijuana has been proven to help people with several different ailments including glaucoma, anorexia nervosa, migraine headaches, severe menstrual cramping, insomnia, and patients undergoing chemotherapy. It relaxes muscles, helps with nausea, and helps people get their appetite back. Medical marijuana is a blessing. Just ask my grandmother who underwent chemo for breast cancer.

It can be used to relieve the effects of glaucoma.

It cures awful nausea. Cancer treatment pts. use it.

it can be prescribed to dull pain and make an anorexic or bulimic eat ("the munchies"). i don't know what else it does though. i'm pretty sure there isn't any thc in medicinal marijuana though, so you don't get much of a high. and a lot of time it's in pill form.

All I can tell is that my 71 y/o mother, when she was very young, used it for her asthma.
