Is it ok to have Turmeric twice a day, everyday?!


Question: hi, i have read in many places that turmeric and milk are very good for people with asthma. i have a history of asthma and i have felt that turmeric and milk helps me but is it ok to have turmeric with milk twice a day, everyday? are there any harmfull effects of turmeric when had like this everyday? i have heard people telling that it is carcinogenic and must not be used in excess. is it true? or is it ok to take turmeric and milk everyday of your life. and also can anyone tell me what is the safe amount of turmeric that can be mixed with milk to have i twice a day.
