Alternative to medication help needed?!

Question: I cannot afford to get my high blood pressure medication refilled until Thursday (can't afford the copay until then). I have been off of it for two days and already am feeling the symptoms (ringing in the ears, sleeplessness, etc). Are there any nonmedical ways to help lower it?

Drink four glasses of water in the morning upon waking up.

If you are already feeling symptoms after two days, you need to get back on your meds ASAP. Alternative medicine is great, but most remedies take months to work so you won't find anything to prevent your bp to rise over a four day period of time. BP is not something to mess with. Consider talking to your doctor about getting samples, or find a way to budget your monthly copay. Be careful and good luck.

Absolutely.Vitamin C with bioflavonoids and l-lisine regulate high blood pressure.Hawthorn increases blood flow and lowers blood pressure.DMG,ginko biloba, parsley and garlic are good for high blood pressure.Check out the book Perscription For Nutritional Healing.

Call your doctor's office and ask if they have some samples for you to use until Thursday. Or ask the pharmacist if you can get a refill now and pay the co pay on Thursday.
