Reiki is a universal energy available to all that certain people who are attuned to it can channel. Anyone can channel it, however, you just need to be attuned (although not all believe that). Reiki is very calming, stress-relieving and soothing. It balances your chakras and energy and brings you closer to your balanced self so that you can heal. It also dissolves blockages in your energy field. Most people report feeling an incredible sense of peace and well-being. Some feel so relaxed they fall asleep. It is possible you may become emotional as the energy works to loosen blocks. You should feel closer to your sense of God or oneness, and in a better position to reach your highest personal good.
You can expect nothing but a pantomime where a practitioner hovers his hands over a patient pretending to extract negative energies. Laughter by an amused onlooker is enough to expose and halt the proceedings.
