This issue is your body trying to tell you something. It is not just about sleep. In regard to your immediate problem of not being able to fall asleep and stay asleep, you can solve that with two products. I've only found one melatonin product that really works. The problem with the typical melatonin products on the market is that they are not from once-living sources and they can damage your DNA.

Go to the following web site at: www.healthline.cc (not .com) and order the following:

Tranquinol
Melatonin

The Tranquinol is an herbal product that will reset your circadian rhythm. It takes about 10 days of you taking 2 capsules each night to do this.

The Melatonin is made from once living sources and then processed by a very special probiotic process that gives you this incredible product. It really works.

The average woman should be taking about 5 to 10 drops of this under the tongue each day. It helps, not only your sleep issue, but other hormone issues as well. It has the same cell resonance as your body's cells and is, for this reason, highly assimilable.

I would start out by putting 3 drops under your tongue the first night. I do this by putting three drops on a spoon and then putting the spoon under the tongue and licking it off that way.

My girl friend is up to 5 drops now per night and she sleeps the whole night through and wakes very rested.

In regard to your nutrition, you are most likely on a low fat, high carb diet. This is destructive to your digestive system and the so called "experts" advising this just don't understand how the body works. Ask yourself, "self, do I crave fats?" If the answer is yes, your body is trying to tell you something. You need the right kind of fats in your body, or you will suffer the consequences of joining the majority of Americans suffering from degenerative diseases like the world has never seen before.

The problem is not the food itself, but where the food is grown, the processing, and the way it is distributed. 1921 was the first case of cardio myfarction that basically introduced heart disease to the U.S. In the early 30's, there were 3,000 cases reported. In the early 50's, 500,000 cases and now it's 3 out of 4 Americans dying of this disease.

What changed? Bingo, the food supply and how we process foods. Pasteurization and homogenization of milk has destroyed this food. Cows used to feed on free range grass and the milk was safe and high quality without pasteurization. Now cows are fed grain in feed lots, huge bacterial contamination exists and so the answer the food industry chose was kill it, not fix the real problem, and make the cows healthy. I drink raw milk, eat raw butter all from grass fed cows and I am very healthy because of it.

Meat from cows fed grain in these feed lots is terrible for you because it is very high in omega 6 fatty acids and they have to load the cows up with antibiotics because they are sick from eating the grains. Grass fed cows are very high in omega 3 fatty acids and are healthy; do not require antibiotics, etc. The meat is actually very good for you.

Now they are doing the same thing to fish as what they did to cows. The "farmed" fish have high omega 6 fatty acids and very little omega 3's due to the feed they are giving fish like salmon and now they have to feed them antibiotics to keep them well. Amazing!

Look at the Vegetable Oils that are supposed to be good for you. Total Garbage, especially the Canola, Soybean, and Cottonseed oils. These come in clear bottles and sit in the light at stores, this creates the rancidity. When these oils are heated just slightly even, they polymerize into trans fats. Olive oil and walnut oil are about the only safe oils to use.

Soybeans are terrible for you. The orientals learned that fermenting soy is the only way you should eat it. Tofu was invented by monks to keep them celibate and it works!

Vegetables are sprayed, irradiated, and grown on depleted soils fertilized with chemicals. 50% of all the nutrients are gone from what was in them just 25 years ago.

No wonder America is sick and getting OBESE. Drug companies are making a fortune on this insanity.

good luck to you

Try taking a long hot bath before retiring, it might help.

Number One.. Don't eat chocolate, drink Coffee, Tea or other caffenated drinks.
Number Two - Don't take Karate, Dance or heavy exercize classes at night. You stimulate your body and adrenals and who can sleep after that.
Number Three - Instead of watching TV drama.. Just before you go to sleep..Try reading a book for about an hour before you go to bed. (boring books really do well..giggling)

Well, that's really tough to answer, just because different people respond differently for different products. The most popular natural products for general sleep (aside from Melatonin) are L-Tryptophan, 5-HTP, Scullcap (an herb... it just sounds bad), L-Taurine, and Passionflower.

If Melatonin isn't helping you, then you likely have enough Seratonin in your system and something else is causing the lack of sleep. One major suggestion I can make with that in mind is to stay away from any sugar, caffeine, and exercise for at least 3 hours before bed time. Many people have trouble sleeping because of the energy-producing things that are running through their system when they try to fall asleep. Good luck!

Exercising during the day turns your biological clock back to normal.

I didn't have the time myself, until I found a work out group at 5:30 am in the morning to 7:00 am so that I still had time to get my kids to school and work my business.

I'm telling you, its the exercise that makes all the difference in the world as long as you do it during the day.

You start off a little rocky, but give it a couple of weeks and then you will start to sleep like a baby at night.

If you are having trouble falling asleep and then staying asleep, I would suggest trying aromatherapy.

First off, aromatherapy is not only effective if you inhale the aromas, but mostly from the oils being absorbed into your bloodstream.

I would recommend 3 oils. First, Lavender, then Chamomile, and lastly Marjoram. Those are listed gentlest to strongest.

It will take a few nights to determine which strength is best for you, but be sure not to skip steps or you could be counterproductive and have even more trouble sleeping!

Night 1: Place 2 drops of Lavender on your pillow before going to bed.
If that works, do this every night before you go to sleep.
If it doesn't, then go on to Night 2.

Night 2: Place 1 drop of Lavender on the sole of each foot before bed.
If that works, do this every night before you go to sleep.
If it doesn't, then go on to Night 3.

Night 3: Place 2 drops of Chamomlie on your pillow before going to bed.
If that works, do this every night before you go to sleep.
If it doesn't, then go on to Night 4.

Night 4: Place 1 drop of Chamomile on the sole of each foot before going to bed.
If that works, do this every night before you go to sleep.
If it doesn't, then go on to Night 5.

Night 5: Place 2 drops of Marjoram on your pillow before going to bed.
If that works, do this every night before you go to sleep.
If it doesn't, then go on to Night 6.

Night 6: Place 1 drop of Marjoram on the sole of each foot before going to bed.

Chances are that you won't have to go all the way to Night 6 to find what works for you. Just make sure that you aren't using more than the 1 or 2 drops recommended. Using too much will cause the opposite effect of what you are trying to acheive!

Also, a word of caution, make sure that the oils you buy are 100% pure essential oils for full effectiveness. Also, make sure that you never use any pure essential oil directly on the skin (except 1 drop on the feet - the skin on your feet is thicker than the skin on the rest of your body.) You always want to blend your essential oils with a carrier oil or cream, like jojoba oil or unscented lotion. Also, watch out for oils marked as frangrances - they are synthetic and have no medicinal effects. They are also much more likely to cause allergic reactions.

You can find pure essential oils at your local health food store - like Wild Oats or GNC...

Good Luck!
