Vitamin B ...can you take too much? Natural ideas?!

Question: I want to get my family including my toddler on more Vit B's because I think we all have deficiencies.

Any suggestions on how much and is it water soluable?

Looking for natrual ways also to keep yeast out of our systems.

The first guy is right...vegemite is a great source of B's.
Its hard to find, and an aquired taste.....
Nutritional yeast could help you get extra B's....
its tastes like grated parmasean cheese - kind of. Its good on popcorn I know.

Pork is high in some B's
Avacado's too.....
Whole grains...
There are 8 vitamins that make up the b's....
Thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, folic acid, patothenic acid, choline, inositol, pryoxidine, cynocoblamin, bioton....(I threw in a couple extra that aren't considered "essential") and each one is found in different foods....which is why they say you should eat some of everything.

Be well - Peace

Vegemite. The worlds richest know source of vitamin B.

Vitamin B is fat soluable. It does not break down with water.

Vitamin B can also make you crave food. Other than that it is a great vitamin for stress and energy.

Candidas, I think is correct, is a great product to get rid of a bad case of yeast.

To help keep yeast down I've always heard to lower sugar intake. Honey is good.

Thanks for asking. Hope this helps.

The B vitamins are water-soluble and excess amounts are excreted by the body. Supplements are fine, just not for the toddler. It is possible to take too much. Mega-doses can cause significant health risks. Check out the following little flash card for some general info.

Vitamin B is water soluble and therefor you need it every day.

A multivitamin contains all or most of the B vitamins and a B complex contains them all in greater amounts.

If you take the recommended dosage you cannot overdose.

Children should take smaller doses than adults so be careful with your toddler. You can actually get multivitamins designed for children but probably not for toddlers. Perhaps you should ask your doctor about your toddler taking supplements.
