What is the best hangover cure/remedy?!


Question: Since you need a cure, I am assuming you don't need info on preventing a hangover. Do this in the following order:
1) Eat a couple of saltines
2) Drink a semi-flat soda with sugar (no diet soda)
3) Take 2 ibuprofen with the soda
4) Take a hot shower, scrub really well
5) Brush teeth and tongue really well
6) No mouthwash!!
7) Eat a couple more crackers, drink more soda
IF you have time:
8) Rest for about half an hour, then drink a full glass of water
9) Eat a cheeseburger, large fries, and a milkshake
You should feel better already, and if you have time, the steps below will return you to "human" status
10) take a long nap with a blanket on the couch in front of the TV
11) Take another shower, brush teeth, put on fresh clothes
12) Have some soup and a non-alcoholic beverage

You should feel much much much better after completing these steps! Good luck!

don't get one..I drink Gatorade with vodka in it...it helps me a lot.

If you already have the hangover, drink water or vitamin water (I hate plain water), eat some greasy food, and get outside in cool air if it's the right time of year where you are. Naps are good and a shower helps to make you feel better. Take some pain killers like tylenol or whatever you take to help with a headache and any muscle aches

First you must understand the nature of a hangover. Hangovers are caused by the alcohol being detoxified from your bloodstream by your liver. The liver needs vitamins and minerals to function and depending on how much you drank your liver may need alot of those vitamins. Next alcohol causes dehydration in the process of detoxification. The process of removing the alcohol from the bloodstream is actually very taxing on the body. What you need to do is replace the vitamins and minerals. Take a multivitamin with a big glass of water and few pieces of bread. Wait a few minutes to make sure you aren't going to throw up. Then if your good take 2 tylenol, ibuprophen, etc with another glass of water. Take a nap and you should wake up feeling great.

Mix half a cup of tomato juice and a third of a cup sauerkraut juice
Squeeze a lemon and stir in the juice
Add two tbsp of fresh lime juice
Add some fresh thyme chopped up and stir well

Add in some liquid kudzu extract or take a capsule
Take 1-2 vitamin B complex tablets

A banana milkshake sweetened with honey will also help greatly (but the loud blender I'm sure won't!)

Rest.
I've heard that eggs absorb and help the body detox alcohol.
Vitamin B, C and A should be replenished.

Well to PREVENT a hangover drink a glass of water before bed.

If you wake up with a hangover....drink water....drink more water....then drink some more water. You may throw up, but that's kind of a good thing.

Tomato sandwiches are a great hangover cure, as well as Campbells Chicken noodle soup!!

If you have the shakes as part of your hang over, that's a sugar crash - in that case drink something with sugar like a can of Cola.
And of course ibuprofen
