Has anyone had a enalgesic steroid injection into there spine for back and nerve problems?!
Question: i have 2 bulging disks and sciatica nerve pain im going for a analgesic steroid on monday and want to here from anybody who has had one before,im scared shitless

i have just finished my 3rd of 3 shots.....
the 1st i too was scared out of my mind... they give you a local first.. thats a slight burning sensation... that will numb it up alot then he'll make sure its going to the right spot . give you the shot... you might have some feeling from the sshot ..like a warm sensation .. they will take you to recovery and make sure your blood pressures ok and such.. get you something to drink. the shot itself takes about a 1/2 hour to 1 hour and u'll probebly stay in recovery about 1/2 hour.. good luck

I had 4 they did not work for me but good luck. The first time they forgot to tell me to have some one who could drive me home so no pain killers or even a local not a lot of fun. But with the local easy to take.
