Omega 3 and oily/sensitive skin?!

Question: I have very sensitive, and also, rather oily skin. I also breakout fairly often, and wanted to try Omega 3 supplements, as I heard they are great for the skin, and clear acne, thus I though tit would clear sebum (oil) as well. However, oddly enough I am hearing two things - that is improves oily skin, and, that it makes it worse! I am not sure what to believe. I am curious if anyone else out there has taken Omega 3 fish oil supplements, and what it did, if anything, to their skin? Thank you.

Omega-3 is good for your skin, joints, weight loss,anti-aging,Diabetes,your heart, brain function,it is an anti- inflammatory and the list goes on and on.Take a good multi-vitamin along with it.

Me and my sister drink silk soy milk with omega-3 in it all the time. I don't breakout but it has improved the texture of my skin greatly, I have dry/oily combination skin. My sister on the other hand, suffers from acne, and this has improved her skin. She doesn't breakout as much as usual but she also washes her face twice a day. Drink lots of water to and keep a healthy diet. Good luck!
