Best stomach flu remedies?!

Question: The best natural remedy for stomach flu is ginger. If you have ginger-ale, drink small sips of it when it is semi-flat. Give your stomach a chance to rest between sips. If you just want to throw up already and get it over with, drink some club soda (not flat). That will make you throw up within about 5 minutes, then you may be able to keep the ginger ale down longer. Gingersnaps are also good if you can stand the thought of eating them. These will also provide sugar, which your body will need if you are throwing up. Ginger has anti-nausea properties and is very effective in treating nausea.
If you don't have either of these, but do have ginger, add some of it to a tea. Drink the tea cold with lots of sugar.
Stomach flu is miserable, I hope you feel better soon.

Water. Sucking on a peppermint candy can reduce nausea, too. Just "riding it out" to get whatever is "in there" OUT of your body. Vomiting is nature's way of purging something out, so let it do it's work, if you can stand it. Otherwise, take some OTC medicines. Be forewarned that you may puke those out, too - lol.

Hope you feel better soon.

At the first sign of cold or flu, I take two droppersful of Elderberry extract and 4 droppers of Echinacea root extract. In an hour I repeat. Then take one dropper of Echinacea every 4 hours. Often the first 2 doses will kick in and the body fights off the whole thing and doesn't get sick.

Take one dropper of Elderberry 3x daily if it turns into flu. Or Red Marine Algae is shown to kill flu virus. If you like homeopathic remedies, there is one called Oscillococcinum by Boiron that has a great reputation.

To calm the nausea, take Ginger. I prefer the crystalized slices because they taste good and work immediately. To help slow the diarrhea, drink Blackberry leaf tea. Yarrow is good to keep the fever from becoming too high by making you sweat - it also helps with stomach cramps. Take it every 2 hours. Drink lots of liquids, including lemon water, Nettle tea, tea of Elderflowers and Peppermint, Chamomile tea, fruit juice.

Ginger, especially Ginger Tea. It works wonders on your stomach.

The more spicy it is the BETTER it is.

Curing Pills are the hands-down best remedy for a stomach flu. I have tried everything else, but the ancient Chinese stomach cure, Curing Pills alleviate nausea immediately, and stop diarrhea in no time. It's always good to have charcoal capsules from the health food store; it absorbs toxins and viruses in the gut.
