First, if you need stronger medicine, your doctor should give it to you. I know it's embarrassing to ask about this stuff, but having those kinds of cramps is the worst.

I had those kinds of cramps when I was 13-18 or so. They were so bad I used to pass out from them. They're not nearly as bad now. One thing I did to help my cramps back then was to take ibuprofen (Advil) for a few days before my period was due. It's always better to stay ahead of the pain than to take the meds once it's started. Then, when your period does start, you can take less and you'll have almost no pain. Try it, it works! You can always take the children's liquid kind, just be sure to figure out the correct dosage. The adult pills are 200mg, so don't take more than 200-400mg of the children's at a time unless the doctor says it's OK. (I don't know your height/weight/risk factors.)

Of course. You'll need to take more than 3 teaspoons though. It's in the infant/children's section.

yes, my son takes it for his tooth

try midol crush it up in a spoon full of something you like and swallow that way.............plus the childrens ibuprofen you would have to take a lot of
