There's no way to avoid the taste unless you get capsules with bitter melon concentrate.

I love how it works too, but I've acquired taste for them.
I make stir frys and soups with them.

oldtimekid: You've obviously never studied Chinese Medicine, but working for a supplement company... it's doubtful you would even consider it unless it turned a profit for your employer.

There's not really a way to improve the taste, unfortunately. As the name implies, it's a bitter fruit, but you can put it into recipes to cover up the taste a bit (although you'll still taste it with most of them, and moreso with that high of a dose of it).
The only thing I can recommend to avoid the bad taste would be to take a capsule of Bitter Melon instead of eating the straight melon.

Although it should be mentioned.... Bitter Melon is primarily known and used for it's ability to help with carbohydrate metabolism and blood sugar in turn.... it doesn't directly impact the liver or stomach much aside from the fiber in it (which you can get from any plant, and many others that taste much better). Good luck!
