First off its not that high just a little, normal would be around 120/70 , exercise is the sure fire best way to help keep it under control. Try to avoid stressful situations as well. If your doctor deems it necessary he might put you on meds but i doubt it. If you smoke that will raise your pressure as well. If you do smoke and had a cigarette within 10 minutes before your check it would easily be 10 points higher at that time. If you have any worries or excessive headaches then make an apt. and see you doctor as soon as possible.

Good Luck

Don't add salt to food. (You get used to it)
Exercise.

Stay away from stress, don't eat too much salty foods, and get plenty of rest and exercise.

Eat salt free foods. Canned and frozen foods have lots of salt in them, especially soups.

Yes, there are lots of ways.

1) Exercise

2) Lower your SODIUM intake (not just salt, look for sodium)

3) Maintain a healthy weight

4) Keep a low stress level

5) There are some OTC vitamins and herbs that can help.

However, know that genetics also play a role, and somehting you just can't get around if it's bad enough. Some of the medications are really good now.

Go to your doctor, and have them monitor your BP, it's VERY important that you run this ting through.

Good luck!

Your blood pressure is the amount of resistance in your arteries against the pressure of your blood leaving your left atrium. As we age the pressure tends to increase because of the build up of particles that attaches to the walls of our arteries. Foods high in fat and cholesterol are the leading contributors to plague that builds on our arteries. To reduce your blood pressure there are certain things you can do to lower it. If you smoke stop because smoking causes vaso constriction and all sorts of complications. Try exercising. Helps to reduce body fat which decreases your risk of stroke, heart disease and hypertension. Try shedding a few pounds if your over your BMI (Body mass index). Try avoiding fatty foods e.g, french fries, hamburgers, fast foods. Decrease your intake of sodium (salt).

You can always take herbs. Michaels makes a great product called BP Factors. I have used it many times on different people and had fabulous results.

* Don't smoke cigarettes or use any tobacco product.
* Lose weight if you're overweight.
* Exercise regularly.
* Eat a healthy diet that includes lots of fruits and vegetables and is low in fat.
* Limit your sodium, alcohol and caffeine intake.
* Try relaxation techniques or biofeedback.

including garlic in your diet should help.

drink citrus juice... add garlic to diet n be less stressful....

aerobic exercise will decrease your blood pressure

Your systolic at 133 is OK as it is below 140 but your diastolic at 110 is much too high as it is above 90.

Taking 3 to 6 high strength odourless 3,000 mg garlic oil capsules every day should help to reduce your diastolic.
