There is no "best" because whoever tells you what they think the "best" brand is, will be the one they take.
I take centrum, it has never steered me wrong, but I have no idea if it is the best. It has a lot of stuff in it though =o
I have studied nutrition for many years and looked in depth into what products go into supplements. After careful analysis any vitamins from GNC are excellent as well as Natures Own and Bio Organics is a great product...
Just make sure that it doesnt have iron or Fe as men cannot handle this in their bloodstream...

Rob actually hit it on the head... there is no "best", just different formulations from different companies that different people take.
My personal opinion is that the High-Potency Soft Multiple ( http://www.swansonvitamins.com/webapp/wc... ) is the best multivitamin... it's got a good high amount of nutrients and it's in a softgel, so it's easy to swallow.
Swanson Health Products is one of many good companies out there, along with companies like Natrol, Nature's Way, Schiff, Jarrow, Twin Labs... all of them have very good quality.
The biggest thing to look for in a vitamin company is a company that uses good quality and can back it up. If you call the company and ask them to back up their quality, they should be able to tell you that they have a good rating with either the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) or the USP (U.S. Pharmacopoeia). The GMP is the world-wide organization that all supplement companies have to answer to, while the USP is only for the U.S., but either way, both are responsible for verifying good quality companies.

I have heard that a product called SolarRay is very good. It is also easy on the stomach as most vitamin supplements are not worried about being easy on the stomach. I have personaly taken this & found it very good. Good luck!
