Massage would be wonderful for you. There is even a sub-specialty in massage specifically for pregnant women. Just ask the therapist if she is certified in "pregnancy massage." You might ask your obstetrician if he/she could recommend someone for you.

why dont you check with a massage school if there is one close by,,possibly a free massage if your willing to go in front of class so they can do pregnancy massage on you,,you get a massage and they learn Report It

  • i heared that if you sit in a dark room with calming music( something you like but nothing too wild) at a low lever it sould calm and relax you

    Try a floatation tank.

If you are near Eastbourne UK I know a fantastic qualified massure.

you are thinking in the right direction but lets veer off a bit - you want to relax yourself - one of the best ways is to learn mediation - this way the muscles and mind relax and you are totally within yourself

Being pregnant and with a birth coming up soon - mediation would be some excellent for you to learn as it would also have a very beneficial effect on your baby - IF you are relaxed then the baby will sense this

Short answer - learn mediation - and it can be done easily

    Hi

I am a qualified Holistic Therapist and I would not recommend a massage this far into your pregnancy as you would have a bit of a problem lying on your belly I presume....

I teach clients how to self massage, the benefits are great, try this site for hints on how to "self massage"

Massage is not difficult anyone can do it, if your partner is willing get him to check out a few effleurage moves, nothing too heavy.

***PLEASE DO NOT USE AROMATHERAPY OILS WITHOUT FIRST SPEAKING TO A PROFESSIONAL, AS THEY COULD BE HARMFUL TO YOUR UNBORN BABY***

Many massage therapist or Spas will offer pregnancy massage. Ask around at a few, I'm sure you'll find one that will work.
