Since I began the plan, I haven't had a single craving. Why do you think natural quit strategies work so much better than more conventional "doctor recommended" medicines?

Because the so called "conventional" is not natural to the body. They give you nicotene to prolong your ability to quit so you get addicted to their gum or patches. These pharmaceutical companies know this and are laughing their way to the bank.

Cold turkey is the best way to quit.

I don't know that that is necessarially true. I think its whatever works for you, the individual.

That is because YOU really have to do it. Patches cannot quit smoking for you. The only way to quit smoking is to stop smoking. Natural methods can help you break out of habitual patterns, but if no medical miracle is going to do it for you.

I tried for years also, patches, pills, gum, tapering off, etc. You name it, I tried it. One day I was driving down the freeway, lit one, coughed, gagged, threw it and the rest of the pack out the window. Haven't smoked since(3 years). Cold turkey is the only thing that worked for me, it's tough but it worked. I smoked for 35 years. 2 packs a day. Everybody's different and doctors don't know everything.

The best answer is that addictions are difficult illnesses to deal with. Conventional medicine utilizes a refined chemical approach to smoking cessation which works for a lot of people. Alternative methods utilize "personal touch", hands on therapy, psychological therapy and diversified chemical therapy. This also helps a lot of people.

In my experience, 50% of patients respond well to Acupuncture for anti-addiction (especially smoking) within 3 weeks. The one's who don't are referred for medical therapy.

Between the two, we get fantactic results.

Find someone who cares about your health and follow their advice.

Umm, they DON'T.
Just because YOU had a good experience does not mean the majority of people will. The vast amount of experience generated in real clinical studies proves that "conventional patches or pills" are much superior.
