What is the old homeopathic recipe for a concoction that helps cystitis?!
Question: My mother used to mix baking soda and lemon juice and something else that really gave symptomatic relief. Does anyone remember exactly what the ingredients were?

no but cranberry juice is good for cystitis it flushes the system
It sounds like your mom was trying to change the Ph of your body to fight the cystitis. I would say maybe it was peppermint oil. My family makes you OD on cranberry juice (not cocktail), with lemon. They also make you take pycnogenol, which helps the body heal.
You need to be clear on the difference betweem "homepathic" recipes, and real recipes.
Homeopathic recipies contain nothing but water. If they were anything but water (or sometimes alcohol), they would not be homeopathic.
Other "folk" recipes may be concoctions of various substances. These are not homeopathic.
Note: In Europe, homeopathic preparations may have a small amount of "active ingredient". In the USA, true homeopathic preparations are repeatedly diluted down to nothingness.
