Apple Cider Vinegar is well known in the natural health co community for having incredibly effects on health, this is not by accident. Someone else on here listed some things she uses it for, which are all great and I would suggest the same things. Also, it is not so much used for nutritional value generally. What it is used for is creating an Alkaline environment in your body to promote healing. Your body develops a acidic ph when you eat unhealthy foods, apple cider vinegar is an extremely effective way of keeping your system clean and healthy and alkaline. When your body is acidic, it is much easier to become sick. You can buy it at most health food stores, and I would suggest ONLY using the kind with the 'mother' in it. Contrary to what others may have said, the mother needs to be present for it to be a good quality cider vinegar. I imagine the person on here who has said it is not healthy to drink, has never actually drank it for any period of time to experience its effects, which is really too bad.

Extra tips
if you feel yourself coming down with a cold, drink a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar mixed with water a few times a day to give your system a boost and get your ph back to alkaline. Also, you can buy ph strips at your health food store as well to test your ph if you want.
Also, it can be used to gently promote weight loss. It is not reccomended for this as its sole use, but when someone begins drinking it, they often find it assists the body in mild weight loss.

I used it as a skin toner/ exfoliant. It was recommended on a makeup board. It was okay, and it did leave my skin feeling smoother, but it was a little irritating. I probably wouldn't use it again unless I didn't have anything else in the house.

Apple Cider Vinegar is full of nutrients and enzymes which are good for many things in the body. Use the organic, unfiltered brands.

I am currently using apple cidar vinegar as a weight supplement. I drink about 4-5 teaspoons after everymeal, but I have also started to exercise more. Just within this first week I have already lost 5 pounds. I am very happy with the apple cidar vinegar it is working very well.

It's good for salads. As a drink or supplement, it is worthless. If the vinegar contains mother of vinegar, the slime bacteria of the mother can cause Ophthalmia Neonatorum.

Contrary to what you might be told, apple cider vinegar contains few nutrients. Nutritional analysis of one tablespoon reveals that the liquid contains less than a gram of carbohydrate: minuscule amounts of calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, copper, manganese, and phosphorus; and a mere 15mg of potassium. The fiber, vitamin, and amino acid content is zero.
