And during that time, you will have much time to contemplate how you killed yourself and with all the medical science and technology available, there will be nothing they can do and you will certainly die. What a bad way to go.

Sleeping pills ? eh... you go to sleep, slip into a coma, then... you die when your heart stops, or your respiratory center no longer functions and you suffocate. Still... not a good way to go either.
