"Holistic" indicates a treatment that comprises your "whole" self - body, soul, emotions, wishes, knowledge etc.
Now how can ANYONE here on YA answer that question... we would have to know you!

Have you looked into accupuncture?

I will help you, just IM me ...

yes i take fever few herb during the day and valerian root at night its helped with my migranes... of course have her talk to her doctor first

I wouldn't take any special herbal remedies while you are pregnant.
I would get massage, or see a chiropractor trained in upper cervical work.

Do NOT see as chiropractor. They are quacks. There is no evidence chiropractic is of any value in the treatment of (real) migraine. Many chiropractors will try to suck you into a long series of worthless and expensive treatments.

If you like the drama of spinal adjustments, see an Osteopath instead.

See the article "Chiropractic's Dirty Secret: Neck Manipulations and Stroke", below.

I am a licensed massage therapist with a busy practice. I see many clients who come in specifically for help with migraines. I've witnessed first-hand some pretty dramatic results with people receiving both immediate and long-lasting from headaches.

As for pregnant moms, those headaches may not be migraines at all, but caused by tension or a buildup of metabolic waste products.

Massage is an especially attractive health care option during the pre-natal period as it involves no exposure to chemicals which would harm the baby. On the contrary, massage has many health benefits for both mom and baby, including assisting the body with coping with stress and fatigue, easing aches and pains, reducing excess fluid retention, and more.

This mom should find a licensed therapist in the area who is trained and experienced in massage for both pre-natal and headache clients.

David R gave some good advice
clinical trials show spinal manipulation is an effective treatment for chronic headache, particularly cervicogenic headache.
