I had a similar problem about 8 years ago. I was so near to rock bottom, but only realised it when I found the woman who is now my wife. There is no other way than to stop completely. How you do this is up to you - you know yourself best - but don't make allowances for yourself. Don't pretend that it's only going to be weekends. It's not. It will start that way and escalate. You know you are making excuses to justify what you are doing. However you do it, you must stop yourself. There WILL be a point when it's too late. Stop. Stop and ask yourself if there is a reason to carry on living. You gave yourself the opportunity to survive before. The second time may be the last chance you get. Seriously, think of what you're doing. Remember, I've been through this.. I didn't want anyone telling me what to do but you are putting it out there by asking on this forum. You want help. You know things aren't right. Get some help. Really.

geeeeeeeeeeeeez you need help mate!!

I'm still not sleeping from the stuff from Saturday... Horrible stuff like washing powder too.

No, you are not just curious, you want to know for a reason (do not lie to yourself). Yes man, I know where you are coming from, so I am going to give you some advice on this. Your addiction is not so more an addiction as it is a habit, and this is why you find it so difficult to quit. It is no good saying you just gonna do it on weekends or something. If you go down that road, you'll surely end up where you started. The reason why you find it difficult to go on when you are not on it is just because you are always on it. Just give yourself a chance. Now you need to learn how to get on with things like the rest do, but this will take time. If you keep doing it your kidneys will finally give in and you will end up badly injured. You might as well die. Another thing that will help is to engage in social activities with others (cycling, trekking, video games, dunno) and leave the old pals behind. In fact, you need to leave behind all trigger factors that will put you into a position you might not like. Just do not expose yourself for some time and do not keep things under the hat. I know it is hard, but you gotta try man.
