How do you take further formal action against a troll if reporting them just gets ignored?!
Question: There is an individual (WHO SHALL REMAIN UNNAMED) that seeks to discredit and be-little altmed and altmed therapist using references to dubious anecdotal websites with a host of inaccuracies. This user has misrepresented myself and many others on numerous occasions.
When these misrepresentations have been pointed out often the blogs disappear because they get reported. When the users misrepresented report the offender nothing seems to happen.
How do you take this further if reporting is ineffective. How do you take a complaint to the next level on this Forum?

He blocked me (and probably you). You really should log out and read some of the questions he's posting (the most recent one). Not even to comment on them, but just to read them because he's hitting the point where he's starting to get really funny.

Let's review:
"I blocked alex because he was spamming my email." Every now and then I messaged you (2 per week at most), often to say I was wrong about an alternative health practice.
About a week ago you said don't email me anymore. I said ok, that was it.
"Alex has been engaging in a vicious campaign to report me at every opportunity." I never have, and I have stated my reasons for doing so. I made a thread because people kept on messaging me to do it and I thought it should be discussed in the public instead of behind closed doors.

It goes on and on. The reason people don't like quackwatch is because it relentlessly attacks alternative medicine practices, oftentimes in ways that are illogical and false. I've read through about 25% of the stuff there, and it just says "rawr I will attack alternative medicine in anyway possible." _Sometimes there's a good reason, and if there is it's taken, at other's he has nothing and just makes up an ad hominem or something. You float around on here and just do the same thing. "Rawr all alt med is bad, Steve Barrett is god, I know more about medicine than any of the ignorant people here, I will not listen to any criticisms of quackwatch, I report/block people if I don't like them but claim to have this wonderful standard."
All you are accomplishing is promoting the medical systems interests and bogging down this forum by trolling. Originally I was pi**ed off about your behavior, but it's been beneficial since you've basically hooked me up with some pretty interesting people here.
At this point there are two things I respond to that you say.
1) poor me, I'm a victim, everyone here is being so unfair to me and crazy, when I'm really a saint. (which now that I think about it I should not)
and
2) Don't do this practice, it's bad and you need to go see a doctor instead (since you are in effect restricting people's access to health for your own benefit).

I would go to a different website and post if I were you. There is nothing you can do in this sort of situation.
Lightning and AlexF got Blocked because they were flooding my personal e-mail with personal attacks and long rambling, irrational defences of their favourite quackeries. I resisted blocking them for a long time because I favour free exchange of ideas. Apparently, I can't block just their personal harassment without also blocking their Q&A. I complained to Y!A. They suggested blocking Lightning and AlexF, so I reluctantly did.
AlexF and Lightning have also led efforts to systematically Report everything I write, in an effort to have me Banned. This is an abuse of the Reporting System, which I will Report, of course.
I apologize for the necessity. I had no choice. Most people who write extensively end up having to go "private" and can't be reached by e-mail, because they get too much hate mail.
If Lighting and AlexF agree to stop their abusive e-mail and stop False Reporting, I'll be pleased to unblock them.
By the way, I have not misrepresented myself. This is a flat-out lie. Show me an example, or apologize.
Incidentally, Quackwatch is the best and most accurate repository on the Internet of information about Altmed fantasies. That's why quacks hate it. Someone (who shall remain unnamed) lied to Yahoo and got the site blocked as spam. Fortunately, it appears Yahoo has changed its mind and now Quackwatch is available again for citation.

I never wrote this. As usual, AlexF is making it up as he goes along. The clinical word is "confabulating".
I have quite a few things to say about this subject: We're adults here (or most of us are, anyway). Why does Yahoo feel the need to babysit? Far better that a few people get their sensibilities "offended" than we have censorship and deletion going on. Sorry, but I am FAR more committed to the Socratic method and to debate than I am to having YahooAnswers (yeah, right, answers...) "moderate" (read that censor people). I think the whole process sucks in a word and that's why I've been so incredibly quiet as of late. I'm back at work full time, I value what little free time I do have, and I have zero intention of investing that precious little time in giving answers (for free, I might add) only to have them deleted or censored before anyone can actually read them. I'll die first, thanks, or find somewhere else to share. Yahoo Answers and Kalos can all go to hell.

Kalos is not a troll. He is a voice of logic and common sense- and, he tells it like it is! I don't know what his credentials are nor what medical training, if any, he has but Kalos tells the truth and correctly identifies the scam artists,quacks and charlatans!
