Has anyone tried Homeopathy?!

Question: ...and did it work?

Answers: ...and did it work?

I've used homoeopathy for the last 15 years & have never looked back. I have an incurable condition the is totally managed homoeopathically - to take conventional drugs will lay me open to all manner of life threatening side effects but not improve my situation one iota. My condition is life threatening without adding to the problem!! Homoeopathy is free from all side effects. I can tell exactly when a remedy is working & when it isn't. As for people claiming it contains nothing but water, they are clearly ignorant of the facts, haven't considered "looking outside of the box". Science doesn't hold all the answers & I for one do not look forward to the day when science catches up with homoeopathy as it will ruin what is a pure & worthy practice. There are not remedies for conditions & diseases - only for people with illness. The difference is vast. People who haven't had success with homoeopathy just haven't been given the correct remedy for them. It takes years & years to understand the practice - even though I've been practicing it for years, I frequently don't get it right first time. However, I study my patients and my practice & given the right information, I've seen some amazing cures of deep pathology - not just things like colds & headaches. So, in answer to your question - yes - it works but it is not easy to get it right first time.
Just for the record, I worked in nursing for over 20 years & so have seen both sides of the fence. Conventional "medicine" has its place for sure - but to just dish out drugs all day long, ALL of which have side effects, is not health enhancing. Removal of symptoms alone is not cure. I know that my patients have chosen homoeopathy because of its gentle nature & have confidence that what I give them will help THEM with their symptoms.

The best answer got chosen as the BA, great ! :o)

  • Hi,
My mother is a herbalist/homeopathist thing, strangely i am very wary of it. Yes it has worked for some people, and in some cases it produces "miracles" but as far as proof goes there in nothing there. I have taken them and i haven't been to the doctor in about 10 years +.
I don't think you have anything to lose by trying them.
I know that was like no help, but i try.

yes.it is quiet good but don't go for it if u want to treat big diseases then don't go for it because it usually takes a lot of time.anyways good luck.

Yes, had Bowen Treatment on pain in my hip. It worked.

    Yes, and very successfully!

If you want a permanent cure (as opposed to mere palliation or worse - just nothing) you have to make sure that you choose a competent CLASSICAL homeopath.

This information can be checked in any country by entering the site of the local association for classical homeopathy and looking for the list of registered/approved homeopaths. In this way you save yourself from falling in the hands of charlatans, that exist everywhere.

I have one special thing in the house and will never be without, it has helped my family and a lot of my friends I introduced this too ,
Bach Rescue Remedy, it is a mixture of six flowers, it is great for depression, shock, trauma, and a lot of other things that depends on clear thinking to help the healing process. there are cheaper version of rescue remedy, on the market, I always stick to BACH,he has a lot of other mixtures to help with other things, but I have not tried any others I have had no need to.

Yes now for more then 20 years, I have not taken any other medication just Homeopathic Remedies, for myself, my family and friends and my friends here on yahoo it works 100%. Homeopathic medicine work very fast in Acute disease and disorders which come on suddenlly and with great intensity, and its progress in chronic disease which develop over a long period of time the is graduall and steady. I have never seen them not to work. Contrary to the belief some people are trying to spread with their constant ranting against it and like the bogus site "quackwatch" is trying to spread with its AMA provided funds to spread disinformation against Homeopathy and Alternative Medicine here is a link to the Hearing and verdict against "Stephen Barret" and his quack site "QUACKWATCH" please click the link to read in detail the hearing and the verdict of the court :- http://www.canlyme.com/quackwatch.html

Take Care and God Bless you.

Yes. I've taken homeopathic medicine for the past 10 years. It has no side effect. Thats Why suggest all to take homeopathy medicine. It works slowly. but perfectly cure any disease.

My wife gets good results from Hyland's Poison Oak/Ivy pills (nothing else seemed to work). My daughter treated her infant with Hyland Colic pills and Hyland Teething pills with good results after treatment failures with other remedies. I find homeopathic Nux Vomica tablets to be a great hangover/upset stomach remedy.
There is little or no risk of adverse effects with homeopathy. When they work, they work very well. When they don't, try another one.

Yes I have, and no, it didn't. I suffer from hay fever in Summer, like so many people, and I must have tried 20 or more different homeopathic remedies, plus the eating local honey trick, but none of it made the slightest bit of difference.

Homeopathic remedies are all just plain water. They contain no active ingredients.

Soul "Doctor" below recommends homeopathy. He claims homeopathic medicines can increase a patient's height. Nothing more need be said about Soul "Doctor's" credibility...

ps: "Quackwatch" is not funded by the AMA. This is a bald-faced lie.

    ADDED
re Freetochoose's decision to study homeoquackery:
He will have an opportunity to win $1 million dollars. This has been a standing offer for anyone who can show homeopathy cures anything. See details below.
Also, Lancet (2005) published a meta-analysys of research on homeopathic cures. The result? It's bullsheet (actually they put it in more scientific words). The editor of Lancet commented (I paraphrase):
"The Weaker the Evidence, the Stronger the Belief".
    Exactly...

    ADDED2
Freetochoose does not understand what meta-analysis is. He should go to school. Start here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meta-analys...
The $1 million dollar prize is still there
