What herb teas do you take, and do feel the benefit of taking them?!

Question: chamomile for calming down and sleeping, lime flowers also for sleeping - peppermint tummy pains- nettle tea for cleansing the blood and minerals aswells as dandelion for minerals - i find them all beneficial - i also make up a tea of peppermint and us it in a foot soak - helps cooling down hot and tired feet aswell as cooling down your system on hot days - rose petal, lavender flowers added with oats and powdered milk make a lovely milk bath too - extremely relaxing and you can use the oats to scrub your skin and get rid of all that grime - pop the herbs into a mulsin bag first though! Oh and of course there is lemon balm - again for relaxing - and sage tea for a mouth wash - helps receding gums and sore throats etc., thats all i can think of at the moment - but my medicine cabinet is full of herbal stuff rather than medicines!

No none... PG tips or english breakfast.. No herbs and spices.. Earl Grey is horrible..

All teas are herbs - including ordinary black tea and orange and orange pekoke tea - which is what most commercially packaged tea is. The terms "orange" "orange pekoke" and "pekoke" merely refer to the grade of black tea - the smallest, freshest leaves at the very tip of the branches of the tea shrub are "pekoke", the next smallest and freshest are "orange pekoke" and "orange" is the next step down in quality.

Be careful trying to treat any disease or condition with herbs - some of those are very powerful and can have dire unintended consequences - a lot of 'em are dangerous when a person takes them while taking other medications - and you have to be a very well-trained pharmacist to know which combinations are dangerous and which ones aren't.

Echinacea - I take it as a tincture even though you can drink it as a tea. Tincture (the extract of a herb) is more powerful and I use it to prevent myself from catching a cold when all around me are sniffling and sneezing.

just started drinking jasmine, dont no if its doing me any good, but it tastes nice.
