Question: As some people know, the person with the handle "Lightning" has been sending me harassing e-mail. I blocked him on the advice of Yahoo!Answers. Now he's sent me the following message under the new name "Lightning_Osteopath":

Probably not the right category.
But debating with such people as him is not something you want to do, he'll probably use tactics much like creationalists use and because of that he'll 'win' despite not having a decent argument.
Do you have troubles? It took me 5 minutes to try to understand what it is you're raving about. Only thing is, I still can't figure it out.
Some sort of harassment, it shouldn't be posted in alt med tho, is there a yahoo section?
As for the person who couldn't understand what was being asked, I think you need to take some more homeopathic reading pills.
While I don't like you, consider you to be a troll, think you've also violated the terms of service and disagree with most of what you say on the alternative health forum (although I must admit what you've said in higher education was quite good)....
I think lightning is being an idiot here, and I told him messaging you was a bad idea. You've cleary pissed him off, but he doesn't understand that you can't troll a troll and get results.
I'll go yell at him again since what he's doing is pointless, but if you care... his main point to you were
a) You need to cite your education (I strongly suspect you went to a public school in california)
b) You need to openly debate him on some of the alt med points instead of just flaming.
I believe he said if you do and a and b he'll leave you alone. Truthfully I don't see why he's still bothering, escalating it won't solve anything.

I couldn't read this under my regular account.
Last week I mailed our friendly neighbour hood engineer and pointed out a few inaccuracies(deliberate) regarding a few blogs he had made very public.
The only reason i do this is because Mr Orisate consistently belittles altmed therapies and therpists who dissagrees with him and rightly point out the evidence he provides is very flawed as are a lot of his arguments. When I point this out all he seems to do is report me. He never discusses anything in a reasoned manor.
I have mailed him prior to this because he has just been so rude and offensive on the bloggs but has never substantiated his qualifications and or credentials. Why?
Because he isn't a specialist in alternative medicine or even conventional allopathic medicine and doesn't want the embarasement of making this known after so publicly ridiculing so many other therapies.
This is all very childish and silly but I feel i'm responding in a like for like manner.
I gave him the opportunity to resolve the conflict. All he had to do was blogg in a reasoned polite, non offensive manor backing up his statements with some research.
Quackwatch and PsiCop are not pubmed or elsilever (Although PsiCop is the better out of the 2 but there experiments can be very loaded).
He hasn't. He still describes legitimate regulated therapies as quackery without any real evidence (something he is very keen for everyone else to provide). This is just not acceptable.
I'm not asking Kalos to agree with everything I say, I'm just asking for postings showing reasoned critical thinking bassed on real evidence and politeness. I don't think i'm being unreasonable.
This question will of course be reported. Let also not forget that Kalos has violated privacy in what he is doing raising a question in this manor.

You incessently call decent people quacks who have earned their BA's and PhD's who heal people through a preferred non invasive method. A service that is a need; not an option in this day and age.

The person who e mailed you was one of the people who appealed to what little humanity may be inside you. What did you do? You reported the person who asked, because you wanted to get rid of the evidence that your not appreciated for insulting others for their kindness.
I publicly challenge you to answer what credentials or background you have that qualifies you to be harrasing chiropractors and homeopaths and others as well. I still don't see an admendment to your question for all to see... I'm waiting.
People who read the answers in the Alt Med sections eventually run across your answers and read it objectively and it takes less than a nano second to realize that it constitutes nothing more than harassment on your part.
I'm sure that the person who sent you that e mail was retaliating against you calling them a quack and a liar at the expense of people reaching for healing.
The Alt Med section subsists of questions having to do with Alt Med. It is not an open invitiation to bash people in the process of cutting and pasting off of the spam web site Quack Watch, and then calling all homeopathics nothing more than water and that chiropractors are all quacks and then stating that people who ask for alternative methods are ful of nonsense.
Chiropractics is the second largest industry in health care, so they must be doing something right when in contrast, medical mistakes combined with properly prescribed drugs is the third leading cause of death according to a report in JAMA .
You seem to think that every question asked in the Alt Med secion is the following quote: "Your against medications and psychiatrists as your God."
I've sent a letter of appeals to the Yahoo Forum moderators to investigate your harassing answers that cause nothing more than harm to the unuspecting innocents who are reaching for wellness and are looking for a career in chiropratics. Chirpractors and naturopaths are in the company of the most intelligent, thinking, and compassionate people I know. Third party validation in our economy and articles back this up 110% compared to the regurgitated opinions of someone that even MD's don't respect.

I made 2 blogs in the above question as you can see I quite clearly volunteered all the information.
I use cranial techniques about 10% of the time. The rest of it I use soft tissue massage, articulations, high velocity thrust manipulations, thrust techniques and also electrictro therapies. Patients are also given rehabilitation exercises in order to manage their symptoms. Physical therapists sometimes work very similarly to how I work and how a chiropractic regularly contributing to this site work. For some reason when either of us do it it become quackpottery and unscientific but when they do it it is fine.

It's actually Kalos who has a real problem with UK osteopaths not being Doctors. I certainly don't have a problem with it and wouldn't want to do anything to change the status.
