Answers: im very sick and need antibiotics but cant go to the doctor

echinasia, garlic, golden seal,

Oregano, garlic. However, that may not be enough to get rid of an infection caused by bacteria. You must see a doctor to get a prescription of antibiotics if you are suffering from an infection. Best to you.

Natural antibiotic? Many herbs actually. Garlic and oregano helps. If you want something from the drug store without a prescription, then it's L-Lysine 1,000mg 3x a day on empty stomach. It's an essential amino acid that helps produce antibodies to fight off infection.

It depends where the infection is. For example, Golden Seal works very well on mouth/throat infections, but doesn't "travel" very well through the body. Tell us what the specific "sickness" is and we can advise you better.

And a pox on answers that assume the questioner is in the United States.

In addition to the oregano, garlic, and amino acids, you might want to try astragalus, mushroom extract, and/or this:

All help build your own immune system to fight off unwanted intruders without killing the helpful bacteria that antibiotics are famous for eliminating. Look up MRSA and see what reckless prescribing of antibiotics is creating... a veritable monster.

Grapefruit seed extract - we've used it for infected throat here, and now also as a yeast control. Great stuff. Use diluted. When he has a throat infection we have him take it similarly to antibiotic . . .every 4-6 hours, 10 drops in about 6 oz of water. You will want to chase it with something as the flavor is a bit strong. Cleared his strep in less than 24 hours! Also, gets LESS throat infections since we started using it.

Oregano leaf extract, haven't tried, but have heard lots about it. Will try if the grapefruit seed extract doesn't work.

Oh, and it works for other infections, we just swallow or use topically depending what is going on. Just throat is what we deal with most here with our allergic son.

You can buy either at your health food store, or online. We use iHerb.com

Mr. Peachy's post reminded me of Manuka Honey. I've heard a lot about it lately. Read a recent article where it is being used in UK to treat MRSA.

Charcoal tablets are good, you can get them at a health food store. Also, if it is a head cold and you can get your hands on food-grade Clove Bud essential oil, a couple drops of that in a glass of water or cup of tea can really help clear you up.

Also, keep in mind that sometimes it isn't an Anti-biotic that you need....it's actually additional bacteria. I have tried Pearls many times when sick with what seemed like an infection and that seemed to help.

My ferverent piece of caution is, though, if you start to run a fever and it doesn't go away after 3 days GO SEE A DOCTOR, find a free clinic! I let a medium grade fever go for two weeks and it destroyed my immune system. I was sick all year after that...I had thought that fighting it naturally would boost my immune system but it did the opposite. Be careful, don't mess with your health!

turmeric and grapefruit seed extract and acidofilous.

Itf you're very sick, you need to go to a real doctor. You cannot be turned away at county hospitals.

There is no need to solicit quacks or resort to OTC medicines.

There is nothing over the counter that will help a true infection. If you are sick YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR! Don't listen to all the alternative medicine quacks. SEE A REAL DOCTOR!

What is going on? What type of infectons? Why cant you see a doctor? You should go see a one any way. Good luck
